A pure, powerful merlot, Grammonte is strong bodied with a persistent aftertaste. Dark, dense, ruby-red, with a refined, articulate flavour. It harmonizes scents of ripe red fruit, morello cherries, black cherries and prunes, as well as floral notes, blended with some mineral nuances, graphite, tobacco and vanilla. Warm and soft on the palate, sinuous, with a very thick, tallowy tannin, it has a powerful, but well balanced body. Very long aftertaste, quite adequate for this kind of wine.
